6th Donation: Independance day party

*Filtered to all members of Gensokyo, members of 1331 Benny Road, and any friends Reimu has made*

I would like to invite all members of Gensokyo, as well as Shina, Myey, Jotaro, and my other friends, to a little party at my house. I believe instead of celebrating a holiday this town wants, we should celebrate Gensokyo instead.

I secured plenty of Tea and picked up somethings called Hamburgers and hot dogs to cook. I hope you can all make it.

... and you don't have to donate anything to come...

*At Reimu's house, she has set up a bunch of tables and clothes, and has the bar-b-que going. if you look closely Reimu's face is a little blackened, like she got a face full of flames.*

OOC: Sure, or you can say she comes over later, I'm fine with either.

Handwavey timeskip GO

[So! After everyone has all gone home, Satori heads over to Reimu's house and knocks on the door.]

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
*And Reimu opens it*

Glad to see you make it. The tea is on the table.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
[Satori takes off her slippers and enters the house, looking at the interior.]

...It's exactly the same as the one I live in...

[She shakes her head and sits at the table.]

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
They call these houses cookie cutter houses for that reason. I suppose this is common in the 1950's.

*Sits across from Satoru and pours her some tea.*

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
[Sarcastically.]

Cookie cutter...? That's cute.

[She sips her tea. Definitely not as good as the tea in Gensokyo, but it would have to do.]

So to what do I owe this invitation? Is there something you wanted to discuss with me?

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
I wanted to make sure you were doing fine. I know hoe much of a loner you were back home.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
I wasn't alone. I had my pets.

[But here, she doesn't even have them. She stares at the table for a minute, silently, before continuing.]

...Anyway, there's no point in getting to know people here.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
I thought that at first, but I realized that one needs allies in this sort of event. We need to stick together.

At least try to get close with some other members of Gensokyo. I know Yuugi is here. Have you spoken with her yet?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 07:54 am (UTC)(link)
It's more difficult for me because once the town...reattaches my eye, things are going to become complicated.

I don't think Hoshiguma and I would get along all that well. I spoke to her briefly on the phone a while ago, but not since then.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
You treat your power like a curse, but it can also be a gift. It may help us escape from this place.

She does seem hard to get along with. Sake and fights are all she cares about.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Not at all. I'm well aware of how useful my ability can be. But I'm also well aware of the fear and hatred it inspires in other people. I'm just subjectively saying that it will complicate things.

Since I don't care for drinking or fighting, Hoshiguma and I really don't have anything in common.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 09:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, hiding in your house will just scare people more for when you do come out.

You don't seem to have much in common with Utusho and Rin either.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
I'm used to it. It doesn't bother me so much anymore.

My pets are a different case entirely. You know that already.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 10:46 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose after living down their for so long you would get used to it.

Oh yes I learned about that personally. You really have some dangerous pets, mainly Utusho. I hope you were keeping her in line before coming her. I don't want to return to a nuclear Holocaust

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 10:49 am (UTC)(link)
If that mountain god hadn't interfered, Okuu wouldn't be nearly as dangerous as she is now. It bothers me that I have to bear the responsibility for what she did.

But I can't change the past, and it's necessary for me to do that, so I've been keeping her busy so she doesn't get any more...bright ideas. Orin should be watching over her in my absence.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
I still don't understand why she choose Utusho of all people. I mean, why give an bird brain all that power?

So the cat is watching the bird. Then who is watching your sister?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
Probably because she was compatible with the Yatagarasu. She is a raven, after all. The god probably wasn't aware of Okuu's level of intelligence. And if she was, then it means she's a bigger idiot than Okuu.

I've always had pets assigned to look out for Koishi. Though if she decides to go wandering, I don't have any control over what happens.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:34 am (UTC)(link)
Weren't there any other ravens down there?

And she seems to like to wander.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:37 am (UTC)(link)
There are lots of ravens, but Okuu is in charge of keeping the Hell of Blazing Fires going. She monitors the flames. She just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Yes, well, there's a reason for it...

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I guess what's done is down. Still, she was one of the toughest people I had to fight, if only for the power she has.

Which is?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:56 am (UTC)(link)
...You saw her third eye, right?

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 12:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. It's always closed. If I remember correctly, she can readn and manipulate the subconscious.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. It's closed. She's trapped in her own subconscious. She's like a completely different person from the sister I grew up with.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. So she is in a constant dream you could say?
