6th Donation: Independance day party

*Filtered to all members of Gensokyo, members of 1331 Benny Road, and any friends Reimu has made*

I would like to invite all members of Gensokyo, as well as Shina, Myey, Jotaro, and my other friends, to a little party at my house. I believe instead of celebrating a holiday this town wants, we should celebrate Gensokyo instead.

I secured plenty of Tea and picked up somethings called Hamburgers and hot dogs to cook. I hope you can all make it.

... and you don't have to donate anything to come...

*At Reimu's house, she has set up a bunch of tables and clothes, and has the bar-b-que going. if you look closely Reimu's face is a little blackened, like she got a face full of flames.*

It's more difficult for me because once the town...reattaches my eye, things are going to become complicated.

I don't think Hoshiguma and I would get along all that well. I spoke to her briefly on the phone a while ago, but not since then.

You treat your power like a curse, but it can also be a gift. It may help us escape from this place.

She does seem hard to get along with. Sake and fights are all she cares about.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Not at all. I'm well aware of how useful my ability can be. But I'm also well aware of the fear and hatred it inspires in other people. I'm just subjectively saying that it will complicate things.

Since I don't care for drinking or fighting, Hoshiguma and I really don't have anything in common.

Well, hiding in your house will just scare people more for when you do come out.

You don't seem to have much in common with Utusho and Rin either.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
I'm used to it. It doesn't bother me so much anymore.

My pets are a different case entirely. You know that already.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 10:46 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose after living down their for so long you would get used to it.

Oh yes I learned about that personally. You really have some dangerous pets, mainly Utusho. I hope you were keeping her in line before coming her. I don't want to return to a nuclear Holocaust

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 10:49 am (UTC)(link)
If that mountain god hadn't interfered, Okuu wouldn't be nearly as dangerous as she is now. It bothers me that I have to bear the responsibility for what she did.

But I can't change the past, and it's necessary for me to do that, so I've been keeping her busy so she doesn't get any more...bright ideas. Orin should be watching over her in my absence.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
I still don't understand why she choose Utusho of all people. I mean, why give an bird brain all that power?

So the cat is watching the bird. Then who is watching your sister?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
Probably because she was compatible with the Yatagarasu. She is a raven, after all. The god probably wasn't aware of Okuu's level of intelligence. And if she was, then it means she's a bigger idiot than Okuu.

I've always had pets assigned to look out for Koishi. Though if she decides to go wandering, I don't have any control over what happens.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:34 am (UTC)(link)
Weren't there any other ravens down there?

And she seems to like to wander.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:37 am (UTC)(link)
There are lots of ravens, but Okuu is in charge of keeping the Hell of Blazing Fires going. She monitors the flames. She just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Yes, well, there's a reason for it...

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I guess what's done is down. Still, she was one of the toughest people I had to fight, if only for the power she has.

Which is?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 11:56 am (UTC)(link)
...You saw her third eye, right?

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 12:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. It's always closed. If I remember correctly, she can readn and manipulate the subconscious.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 12:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. It's closed. She's trapped in her own subconscious. She's like a completely different person from the sister I grew up with.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. So she is in a constant dream you could say?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
That's an apt way of putting it. I think she'd revert to normal if she just opened her eye, but...I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-05 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
She seems to enjoy herself too much.

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
[Satori narrows her eyes and doesn't respond. It's fairly obvious Reimu's comment has upset her.]

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, sorry. Wasn't trying to offend you... You're sister just emanates that feeling...

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
She does look happy, but I wonder if she can feel anything at all anymore.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
Have you ever tried reading her mind to find out?

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
...I can't read her mind at all.

[identity profile] nekomikoreimu.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Is that because she has a greater psychic power then you? Or can Satori's not read other Satori's minds?

OOC: I'm sure you know, but Satori and her sister are a type of Youkai called Satori, that feed on the thoughts of others.*

[identity profile] wondering-eye.livejournal.com 2010-07-06 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
She's closed it off. I can only deal with the conscious mind, and if she's trapped in her subconscious...then there's nothing for me to read.

[ooc: Oh, yes, I do know! But Satori can't read Koishi's mind in canon. Quoted from the Touhou wiki: "Even her older sister, Satori, is unable to read Koishi's sealed-away heart, and doesn't really know where she goes or what she does there."]
